Search Orkut

December 24th, 2008 admin Posted in Others No Comments »

To search for people on orkut.com, you can enter their name in the search box at the top of each page. People don’t always use their real names on their orkut profiles, and you’ll only find results if you search for their orkut display name. It isn’t currently possible to search for orkut profiles by email address.

Here are more search options:

  1. Enter a term in the search box and click the magnifying glass next to it.
  2. Select the users tab.
  3. Search for other orkut profiles by typing the information you’re looking for into the search box in the middle of the page.
  4. Add filters such as gender, age, location, and interest next to the person’s name. For example, if you’re trying to find a friend named Robin, and you know that her hometown is New Orleans, you might search for [Robin New Orleans]. You can further narrow your search by clicking the Change Filters link and any of the links under ’search filter’ on the right side of the page.

Also, be sure to check out the find friends feature to find, add, or invite any of your email contacts on Gmail, Hotmail, rediff.com, mail.ru, or AOL.
